Daniel Everts

Daniel Everts has worked in the software engineering industry since 2010. Daniel began their career as the Founder of Nimiam Developments, where they helped small-mid sized businesses host and maintain their websites with an easy to setup and easy to maintain panel. Daniel then joined Young & Shand in 2012 as a Developer, where they helped design and spec out briefs for clients, monitored the development process, evaluated new technology, and developed internal applications, tools, and processes. In 2015, they became the CTO of Nudge, a suite of tools to help track, report on, and optimise native ad content. Daniel also took on the role of Lead Developer, where they planned and managed the feature pipeline, planned and implemented infrastructure, managed multiple developers, and ensured the code remained functional. In 2020, Daniel joined Sendify as the Head of Tech, where they built a platform to replace the traditional logistics department and standardised booking, pricing, and tracking. Most recently, they began working as a Staff Software Engineer at Xata.io in 2022.

Daniel Everts studied at The University of Auckland from 2012 to 2012, where they earned a BSc (Bachelor of Science) in Computer Science and Information Systems. Daniel also attended Rangitoto College from 2007 to 2011.
