Our vision is to help reduce the climate footprint of new multi-story residential buildings. We are convinced that for this to happen, we must make timber construction for multi-story housing competitive with concrete and steel construction. Today, wood is the only renewable material for high-rise building projects.

That is why we have developed a supplier-independent building system for multi-family housing in CLT (cross-laminated timber) together with Swedens's leading experts in timber construction. Our goal in developing this system is to ensure that it does not compromise design aesthetics while allowing for site-specific adaptations, all while remaining cost-effective during construction.

xbuild's offering to property developers is to take on the role of general consultant, assuming full responsibility for the design process together with our partners. The foundation of the entire design process is our proprietary building system, which integrates all disciplines. From sketch to finalized design, you are supported by our software-driven and modular building system, making complex constructions easy to realize.

We have collaborated with one of Swedens's leading architectural firms during development. This has allowed us to integrate the architect's workflow into the system while combining it with all requirements related to structure, fire safety, acoustics, and installations. We offer a complete solution in our projects, including architecture, together with our partners. However, if you already have an architect for your project, that works too. In that case, we simply include your architect in the general consulting assignment and guide them, along with you, through the entire design process.
