Benjamin Young

Benjamin Young is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development across the Africa and Middle East regions. Currently serving as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Xcalibur Smart Mapping since January 2023, Benjamin leads business development activities. Previously, Benjamin held the position of Discipline Leader at Southern Mapping, where leadership of the Remote Sensing Team facilitated project implementation throughout Africa. Experience also includes serving as Business Development Manager at CGG, where promotion of the Multi Physics group involved technical interactions with governments and private companies. Prior roles at Fugro Airborne Surveys and Schlumberger involved technical sales and engineering, respectively. Benjamin holds a BSc Honours in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of the Witwatersrand.
