Thomas Bailey

Thomas Bailey serves as the AVP of Commercial & Industrial Solutions at Xcel Energy since January 2021, following a significant tenure at Vectren from April 2010 to February 2019. At Vectren, Thomas held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of Corporate Economic Development and Director of Economic Development, where responsibilities included managing substantial budgets, executing strategic initiatives to attract $20B in capital investments, and fostering partnerships for community development projects valued at $500M. In addition to economic development efforts, Thomas directed sales and marketing initiatives for regulated utility services and led key negotiations related to contracts and infrastructure with regulatory bodies. Thomas's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration from Murray State University and studies at Wabash College and Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
