Ali Ahmed

Ali Ahmed, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic and industry professional currently serving as the Director of ORIC and an Assistant Professor at UIT University, specializing in Electrical Engineering since January 2017. Alongside academia, Ali also works as a Tech Consultant at Xcelerium, focusing on team building and technology consultancy, and heads the Micro Electronics Research Lab dedicated to advancing the semiconductor industry in Pakistan. Previously, Ali held several positions, including CEO of Brandmefy, where innovative video wall solutions were developed, and IT Consultant for DreamBig Semiconductor Inc., involved in team assembly for hardware and software projects. With a Ph.D. from Hanyang University in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Ali's extensive experience includes hardware design engineering, embedded systems, and contributions to startups through Entrepreneur First. Educational background includes a Master’s from NUST SEECS and a Bachelor's from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
