Umer Irshad

Umer Irshad is a Computer Engineering student at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, expected to graduate in 2024. Umer has gained practical experience as an Associate Engineer and Trainee Engineer at Xcelerium in February 2025. Prior to that, Umer completed an internship at the Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), UET Lahore, where skills in machine learning and deep learning were developed. Umer held the position of Project Manager for a Biometric System with ASME UET Lahore and served as Team Lead for both Robotics and AI at ACM UET Lahore. Skills include proficiency in technologies such as Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, and Keras, along with experience in object detection and point cloud classification.
