xDev is a forward-deployment engineering company founded in October 2024 on the Gold Coast, Australia. We build production systems across Rust, Swift, and TypeScript — with AI integrated at the architecture level, not bolted on after the fact.

Our open source work speaks for itself. a2a-rs is a Rust SDK implementing the full v0.3 spec of Google's Agent-to-Agent protocol, backed by 765 tests. mineflayer-x delivers the first Minecraft Java 26.x protocol support, reverse-engineered from scratch. xpip is a native macOS PiP daemon running 15 arcade games at 60fps with cursor tracking.

On the commercial side, we've built a lead generation platform with 33 platform scrapers, 129+ API routes, and an AI-powered CRM pipeline that generates websites for local businesses automatically. devscope is a developer talent sourcing platform indexing 93K records. xclawd is a multi-agent IDE built on Rust and Tauri with an A2A protocol engine under the hood.

We also maintain a native macOS app suite — a Metal-based Wallpaper Engine reimplementation, hardware fan control, prompt tooling, ADHD productivity software, and emulator cores — all written in Swift without Electron in sight.

mineclawd, our Claude-powered Minecraft AI agent, is a working example of what happens when you give an LLM actual autonomy in a complex environment rather than a chat window.

We work with clients on web development and AI integration, but we're not a generic agency. Every project we take on involves real engineering — protocol implementation, systems programming, native platform work, or AI infrastructure. If it can be solved with a WordPress template, we're probably not the right fit.
