Thomas Savage

Thomas Savage has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Thomas is currently working as a Compliance Operations Analyst at Xe.com since December 2022. In their previous role as a Financial Crime Analyst at Oodle Car Finance from July 2021 to December 2022, their primary responsibilities included conducting due diligence checks on dealers, performing KYC checks, and utilizing various Open Source Intelligence methods. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a Sales Assistant at Waitrose & Partners from February 2016 to July 2021, where they managed customer service, handled cash transactions, and collaborated with internal security teams to prevent fraud and reduce stock loss.

Thomas Savage's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled at Amersham and Wycombe College. Thomas pursued a BTEC Level 3 90-credit Diploma in Public Services and completed it in 2016. Following this, they attended Buckinghamshire New University from 2016 to 2019, where they studied Police Studies with Criminal Investigation, focusing on Fraud Investigation.

In 2019, Thomas Savage joined the University of Portsmouth, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Counter Fraud and Counter Corruption with International Criminal Justice, which they completed in 2021.

Aside from their formal education, Thomas has also obtained several certifications. In September 2019, they acquired the "Avoiding Phishing Scams" certification from LinkedIn. In July 2020, they obtained the "Learning Secure Payments and PCI" certification, also from LinkedIn. In September 2021, they received the "Cifas Protecting Innocent Parties" certification from Cifas. Additionally, Thomas acquired the "Specialist Automotive Finance Expert" certification from the Finance & Leasing Association in September 2021. Thomas'smost recent certification is the "AML in Crypto: Beginners Guide" from fscom, which they obtained in March 2022.
