Joe Bowbeer

Joe Bowbeer has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 1992. Joe started as a Developer at Appian Technology, where they worked on Appian Renegade, which was awarded PC Magazine Editor's Choice (Dec. 7, 1993) and Best Of Byte Magazine (Feb. 1994). In 1999, they moved to Go2Net Inc., where they worked as a Developer. Joe then moved to UIEvolution in 2001, where they worked as a Developer. In 2004, they became a Consultant at Melodeo, and in 2007, they became Self-Employed at Mobile App Consulting. In 2009, they became a Senior Mobile Engineer at Dashwire, Inc. In 2010, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Swype Inc., and in 2011, they became a Principal Software Engineer at Nuance Communications. Finally, in 2013, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Google, and in 2017, they became a Software Developer at Xealth.

Joe Bowbeer attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1977 to 1980, graduating with a B.S. in Computer Science. Joe then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1980 to 1983, studying Artificial Intelligence.
