Mayank Joshi has extensive work experience in software engineering. Mayank is currently employed as a Principal Software Engineer at Xealth since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Nuance Communications, where they held multiple roles including Principal Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer from 2012 to 2018. At Nuance Communications, they led Android development, mentored engineers, and spearheaded the design and development of Keyboard-as-a-Platform. Mayank also successfully released partner app integrations, implemented AdMob ads in Swype to increase alternate monetization revenue, and engineered the "Swype Store" for in-app purchase. Mayank completed the design and implementation of the Emoji keyboard in just 3 weeks. Before that, Mayank worked at Swype Inc. as a Software Engineer from 2010 to 2012, where they led the development of language pack downloads and developed and maintained the cross-platform Swype technology. Mayank also worked at GrapeCity, Inc. as a Software Engineer/Architect and Senior Software Engineer from 2006 to 2010. At GrapeCity, they handled estimates and project planning activities, conducted requirements analysis meetings, and held a zero-defect record for the network data configurator application. Overall, Mayank Joshi has a wide range of experience in software engineering, with a focus on leadership, Android development, and design and development of various software components.

Mayank Joshi obtained a Masters of Computer Applications degree from FORE School of Management between 2003 and 2006. In 2017, they also completed a Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation program from Udacity. Additionally, they have earned various certifications including a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in September 2019, and certifications in Reproducible Research, Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, R Programming, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Johns Hopkins University in 2014. In 2012, they completed a Machine Learning course offered by Stanford University through Coursera Inc. Furthermore, in 2014, Mayank Joshi also acquired an Introduction to Recommender Systems certification from the University of Minnesota.
