Michael Morton is an award-winning Industrial Designer and experienced design architect with a notable career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a HardTech Startup Mentor, Advisor, and fractional CTO/COO/CDO at Morton Consulting Group since February 2015, Michael has demonstrated expertise in product and experience design management, focusing on user-centric solutions. In addition to mentoring roles at Capital Factory, Techstars, and MassChallenge, Michael contributes as an Advisor at Xebec and previously advised Popspots, which aims to modernize grocery checkouts. Michael's background includes a significant tenure at Dell, where responsibilities encompassed the design and architecture of high-revenue business desktop computers and enterprise storage products. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati and has earlier educational credentials from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Singapore American School.
