Remi Baar

Remi Baar is an experienced data and AI professional with a focus on machine learning and data engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at ANWB and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Xebia, Remi analyzes technical and organizational challenges to enhance the accessibility of machine learning models. Remi's career spans numerous roles, including as the owner of Indextra, where the focus has transitioned from web development to machine learning. Prior experience includes positions such as Data Scientist and Data Engineer at TenderNed, Lead Data Science at AKIDA, and Machine Learning Engineer at Air France-KLM. Remi also contributed to academia as a Data Scientist at Universiteit Leiden and held leadership roles such as Chair of Stichting Bètabanenmarkt.
