Zhenyu Guo is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in reservoir engineering and analytics. Currently serving as the Lead Research Engineer and Reservoir Engineer at Xecta since August 2021, Zhenyu previously held positions as a Senior Research Engineer and Reservoir Engineer at the same company, and as an Analytics Engineer and Reservoir Engineer at Oxy from June 2018 to August 2021. Zhenyu's academic background includes a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa, complemented by a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from China University of Geosciences (Beijing). Notable contributions include the development of a physics-based data-driven model for reservoir optimization and experience with machine learning applications in history matching during internships at Shell.
