Daniel Lee

Daniel Lee has extensive experience in software engineering and development, with a focus on backend development. Daniel is currently working as a Backend Developer at Xelix, an enterprise SaaS company that provides intelligent automation solutions for the CFO office. In this role, they utilize machine learning and automation to transform finance processes and develops real-time solutions such as overpayment & fraud detection, master data management, automated supplier statement reconciliation, and predictive analytics.

Prior to their current position, Daniel worked as a Software Engineer at Spring from November 2019 to January 2021, where they further honed their skills in software development. Daniel also gained valuable experience at FUTRLI from November 2013 to October 2019, where they worked as a Software Engineer.

In addition, Daniel has worked as a Software Developer at Opsimize, specializing in management software for restaurants, pubs, bars, cafés, and clubs, from July 2013 to June 2014.

Furthermore, Daniel's experience includes leadership and teaching roles at the University of Sussex, where they served as a PAL Team Leader from November 2011 to June 2013. In this position, they managed the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme in the Informatics Department and provided programming assistance to first and second-year Informatics students, particularly in Java.

Through their various roles, Daniel has developed a strong skill set in software engineering and backs it up with hands-on experience in backend development and automation solutions.

Daniel Lee's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Orleans Park School for their GCSE. Daniel then went on to Kingston College from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a BTec in Computing. Finally, from 2010 to 2013, they attended the University of Sussex and obtained a BSc in Computer Science.
