Peter Baker

Peter Baker has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Peter most recently served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Xellia Pharmaceuticals, starting in September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the National Accounts Manager at Xellia Pharmaceuticals from August 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining Xellia Pharmaceuticals, Peter worked at Pfizer as the Vice President of Biosimilar and Injectable Contracting. Peter'sresponsibilities included negotiating and executing contracting strategies for the $4 billion+ US biosimilar and injectable product portfolios. Peter also led the integration of Pfizer and Hospira's commercial organization.

Peter has a long history with Hospira, starting in June 2002 as the Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Service Operations. Peter oversaw the development and implementation of strategies to support over $2.6 billion in US sales. Peter stayed with Hospira until their move to Pfizer in 2015.

Peter's career in the pharmaceutical industry began at Abbott Laboratories in 1989. Peter held various roles at Abbott, including General Manager of Alternate Site Product Sales, Director of Sales for Alternate Site, Marketing Manager for Pain Management, Director of AHD Marketing, and Midwest Area Business Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for sales, marketing, and managing the sales organization.

Prior to their time at Abbott Laboratories, Peter worked as a Marketing Manager at Sherwood Medical.
