Blake Engelbert

Blake Engelbert is a skilled scientist with extensive expertise in molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and cell culture development. They have held various positions, including Upstream Process Development Associate at CMC Biologics and Research Associate III at Ambrx, where they developed techniques for optimizing cell line cloning. Currently, Blake serves as the Director of Analytical Sciences at Xencor, following their role as Senior Scientist II at Shape Therapeutics Inc., where they established an analytical development team and managed a cross-functional team for routine sample testing. Blake holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Bioengineering and a Bachelor of Science in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology with a minor in Chemistry, both from the University of Washington.
