Michael Hedvat, PhD, currently serves as Director at Xencor, a position held since March 2015. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Research Scientist at Kyowa Kirin, Inc. from August 2012 to March 2015, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute between May 2010 and August 2012. Michael's experience also includes a tenure as a Predoctoral Fellow at the City of Hope from 2006 to 2010 and as a Research Associate at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from June 2001 to September 2006. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the Irell & Manella Graduate School of Biological Sciences and a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara.
