John Kim

John Kim is the Managing Partner and co-founder at Amasia, a venture capital firm dedicated to addressing climate change through behavioral solutions. They initiated their career as an entrepreneur with music and consulting ventures before transitioning to Merck & Co as a Systems Specialist. Following this, John founded a rock band called The Ally, touring the U.S. and gaining recognition, including a platinum record alongside Grammy Award winner Brandy. With a decade of experience managing investment strategies at firms like Goldman Sachs, John also contributes to various organizations focused on entrepreneurship and education, and holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and the School of Engineering.
