Benjamin Emory

Benjamin Emory is an experienced mechanical and aerospace engineer with a robust background in structural dynamics analysis and aerospace applications. Currently serving as Engineer IV at X-energy since October 2025, Benjamin specializes in dynamic structural analysis of steam generator components. As the owner of Emory Engineering, LLC since November 2017, Benjamin has focused on code conversion in Python and structural dynamics testing. Previous roles include Senior Dynamics Analyst at multiple companies, including Aerodyne Industries LLC and ATA Aerospace, where Benjamin conducted coupled loads analysis using NASTRAN for the Roman Space Telescope project. Benjamin's experience extends to positions at NASA Langley Research Center and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, emphasizing loads and dynamics for aerospace applications. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, alongside multiple degrees in the field. Additionally, Benjamin holds a 1st Dan in Taekwondo.
