Mark Loeffler

Mark Loeffler is an Engineer V in Licensing at X-energy, where they have been employed since 2025. Previously, they served as a Senior Licensing Specialist at ENEC in the UAE from 2014 to 2025, focusing on probabilistic risk assessment and Chapter 15 of regulations. Earlier in their career, Mark worked at Bechtel Power Corporation as a Seismic Licensing Engineer and at Bechtel as a Licensing and Technical Consultant, both from 2008 to 2014. They also held the position of ABWR Regulatory Affairs Project Manager at GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy from 2007 to 2008. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Power from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1987 to 1991.
