Robert Taylor is currently the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Licensing at X-energy, where they lead a world-class licensing team. Prior to this role, Robert served in various capacities at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from 2011 to 2017, including Deputy Director and Deputy Office Director for New Reactors. Robert's earlier experience includes working as a Crew Training Engineer at Bechtel Bettis Atomic Power Laboratories from 1999 to 2001. They hold both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University.
