Alec Leithhead, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Institutional Investor Relations at Xero since May 2022. In this role, Alec leads the development of market presentations, analyses financial performance, and manages investor and analyst inquiries. Prior to Xero, Alec held various positions at Westpac Group from February 2018 to May 2022, including Senior Manager and Manager in Investor Relations, where responsibilities included coordinating financial performance reporting and supporting the investor relations program. Alec began the career as a Finance & Accounting Graduate at Westpac Group and has experience as a Data Analyst at Opta, a Data Scout at RunningBall, and as a Campus Leader and Senior Coach at Art of Smart Education. Alec holds dual degrees in Biotechnology and Finance from UNSW, completed in 2017.
