Benjamin Jacobs is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both in-house and private practice. Currently serving as President of ILANZ, the In-house Lawyers Association of New Zealand, since June 2020, Benjamin focuses on supporting and leading the in-house legal community in New Zealand. As GM of Legal for Strategic Growth and Development at Xero, Benjamin oversees various legal teams related to the company's strategy, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Prior positions include Special Counsel at MinterEllisonRuddWatts and Director of M&A Legal at Barclays, among others. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Nottingham.
