Derek

Derek Ma is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Xero since August 2021, Derek previously worked at UL from June 2018 to August 2021, progressing from Software Engineer to Associate Software Engineer. Earlier in Derek's career, expertise was gained as an Electrical Engineer at Zantek Pty Ltd from June 2016 to June 2018. Derek holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Melbourne, which was completed from 2013 to 2015, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and its Automation from Hunan University, achieved from 2009 to 2013.
