Ken Kan

Ken Kan is an accomplished Lead Data Reliability Engineer at Xero, where responsibilities include coaching product teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions while designing and architecting data platforms for operational excellence and cost efficiency. Prior to Xero, Ken served as a Product Data Specialist and Operations Manager at IT Services - The University of Auckland from 1998 to December 2016, overseeing engineering, service delivery, and operations, as well as managing software development projects and mentoring teams in technology adoption. Ken's earlier roles include Production Systems Lead/Database Architect and Client Support and Training Manager, leading teams in system development and user support respectively. Ken holds a BA in Economics and a BCom in Information Systems from The University of Auckland.
