Suman Jayapathi

Suman Jayapathi is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and mobile technology. Currently serving as Team Lead - Engineering at Xero since January 2016, Suman has successfully introduced an engineering capability matrix to enhance the skillsets of engineers. Previously, as a Senior iOS Engineer at Xero, Suman provided technical leadership while mentoring engineers through a significant migration project. Prior roles include Lead Engineer - Mobile and API at CitiPower and Powercor, where Suman developed innovative applications, and Full Stack Engineer at Liberty Financial Pty Ltd, contributing to a nomination for Best Innovator at the Australian Lending Awards in 2013. Suman's career began as a Dotnet Consultant and Software Developer, following academic achievements with a Master of Science in Information Technology from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
