William Flynt

William Flynt is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Sr Principal Engineer in Data, Product, and ML/AI at Xero since May 2024, William has previously held positions at Amazon as a Principal Engineer and at Wheel as a Principal Software Engineer. William is also the founder and Technical Lead at Ivy Data, offering expertise in software development from July 2017 to September 2022. Prior military service as a Fighter Pilot and Mission Commander in the United States Air Force spanned nearly a decade. William is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder, building on an MBA from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy.
