César Suárez

Chief Innovation Officer at Xertify

César Suárez has a wealth of work experience. César began their career in 2014 as a Monitor of Industrial Engineering at Universidad de los Andes, where they helped freshmen students with Differential Calculus, Programming Java code, and other concepts related to Industrial Engineering. In 2016, they joined Willis Towers Watson as a Junior Broker and Reinsurance Broker Intern, where they translated reinsurance contracts from abroad and followed small accounts to make sure they renewed their reinsurance. In 2017, they worked at Hometuls as a Business Development team member, responsible for attracting firms to buy and sell through the platform. César also worked as General Manager at GLUP - MANEKEN, where they were responsible for the logistics from the factory to the final customer, pricing, and strategy of the brand. In 2018, they became General Manager at DreamMaps Co, where they were responsible for the finances, strategy, designs, and logistics of the brand. Currently, they are the Chief Innovation Officer at Xertify and Chief Executive Officer at Svenir.

César Suárez has an education history that includes a Master's degree in Innovation and Global Sustainable Development from Lund University School of Economics and Management, obtained between 2018 and 2020. César also holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Los Andes, obtained between 2013 and 2017, and an Associate's degree in Economics from the same university, obtained between 2013 and 2016. In addition, César Suárez participated in an exchange student Master in Industrial Engineering and Management program at Instituto Superior Técnico. César also obtained a Professional Trader certification from Chayil School of Trade in June 2014.
