Chris Young

Chris Young has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics. Chris started their career as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business in 2018. Chris later worked as a Cyber Risk Intern at Deloitte in 2020. Additionally, they served as a Business Intelligence Developer at BYU Broadcasting from 2020 to 2021. In the same period, they also worked as a Sports Analytics Research Assistant at Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. In 2021, Chris interned at Adobe as a Data Engineering / Data Governance Intern. Chris then joined Eide Bailly LLP as an Analytics Consultant and later transitioned to the role of a Data Engineer. Currently, Chris is working as a Data Platform Engineer at Xevant, starting in 2023.

Chris Young completed their Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Brigham Young University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the same institution from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Chris obtained certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2022 and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner in April 2020.
