Maciej Karabon

Maciej Karabon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Maciej is currently the Head of Business Development at Xfive.co, where they are responsible for managing the sales process and developing the sales strategy for the company. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Xfive.co, where they proactively ran the sales process for new clients and managed after-sales relations.

Before joining Xfive.co, Maciej co-founded and worked as a Product Owner and Manager at Drondy, a startup connecting drone operators with clients. During their time there, they developed the platform, which grew to over 250 registered drone operators in Poland and Romania. Maciej also introduced an innovative service called Drondy:Go, allowing for instant video filming orders.

Maciej's earlier experience includes working as a Business Manager in the Krakow branch of the Twój StartUp Foundation, where they managed the branch's budget, employees, and office space. Maciej was responsible for planning and implementing development strategies, designing business processes, and managing human resources. Maciej successfully expanded the branch, increased its revenue by over 8600%, and mentored successors who currently manage the branch. Maciej also opened a facility for Russian-speaking individuals and introduced various innovative systems and processes.

Additionally, Maciej worked as a Business Partner at FM Group Polska from 2012 to 2014.

Maciej Karabon has a diverse education history. Maciej began their formal education at Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, United States, from 2004 to 2005. Afterward, they attended Liceum Ogólnokształcące nr III we Wrocławiu, specializing in mathematics, from 2006 to 2009.

Maciej later enrolled at Jagiellonian University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from 2010 to 2013. Maciej continued their studies at Jagiellonian University and pursued a Master's degree in Psychology in Management from 2013 to 2016.

Subsequently, Maciej returned to Jagiellonian University for further studies. From 2019 to 2022, they completed a second Master's degree, this time in Philosophy. Additionally, during the same period, they engaged in a Postgraduate Degree program in Literary-Artistic Studies at Jagiellonian University.

In terms of certifications, Maciej earned the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) from the University of Cambridge, but specific dates of attainment are not provided.
