Geomar B. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Geomar began their career in 2001 as a Software Developer at Gens Tecnologia e Informática Ltda., where they were responsible for maintaining the Delphi source code of the Medical Clinics ERP system and implementing the Treasury module of the Hospital Management ERP system in C# .NET.

In 2002, Geomar joined Salux Informatização em Saúde / InfoSaúde as a System Analyst. During their time there, they conducted systems analysis, customization, testing, and approval of improvements in the SADT ERP module and the Health Insurance system. Geomar also integrated the SADT module with the hospital laboratory equipment to import results automatically and displayed them on the doctor's screen. Additionally, they evaluated and integrated a BI tool with the ERP system.

From 2004 to 2007, Geomar worked as a Product Owner at GetNet Tecnologia. In this role, they managed customer relationships and spearheaded the creation, implementation, and management of improvement projects for a system used to manage debit cards provided by Walmart Brazil. Geomar also prepared commercial proposals for each improvement, estimating time, costs, and resources required.

At Trace Sistemas, Geomar served as a Systems Analyst from 2007 to 2009. Geomar was accountable for customer relationship management, made improvements to the company's ERP, and prepared commercial proposals based on system analysis.

From 2009 to 2012, Geomar worked as a Business Analyst at Solanum Shoes. Geomar'sresponsibilities included evaluating and suggesting process improvements, adapting the system to user needs, defining improvement priorities, and creating business rules and technical documentation.

Geomar then took on the role of IT Manager at Roquette Pinto Comunicação Educativa from 2012 to 2015. In this position, they defined the annual strategic planning for the IT department, prepared executive reports, and managed various teams, including development, infrastructure, technical support, and telecommunications.

In 2017, Geomar participated in the Apple Developer Academy as a MasterClass Student. Through a 10-month program, they followed the Challenge Based Learning methodology, collaborating on projects, conducting market research, and receiving feedback from Apple professionals.

From 2019 to the present, Geomar has been self-employed, working as a Software Development Engineer. In this role, they are developing a solution to help Brazilian stock market investors calculate income taxes. The project involves using JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.

Recently, in 2021, Geomar joined Wild Code School as a JS Course Coordinator & Instructor. Geomar teaches subjects such as Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React.js, Node.js, Express, MySQL, and SCRUM in a 5-month bootcamp.

Most recently, in 2022, Geomar joined xgeeks as a Software Engineer. The details of this role have not yet been provided.

Geomar B. completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Analysis with a focus on Business Administration at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul / PUCRS, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Geomar then pursued a MasterClass in the Apple Academy at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II from 2017 to 2018. In 2013, Geomar B. obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in IT Strategic Management, specializing in Gestão Estratégica da TI, from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Digital TV at Universidade Federal Fluminense from 2012 to 2013.
