João Sousa

João Sousa has a diverse background in software engineering and development. João began their career as a Software Engineer at GRIFIN, Soluções de Sistemas Informáticos, Lda. where they developed and provided technical support for a web application used in the mould industry. João then moved on to work as a Software Developer at Logme, Lda. In this role, they gained experience in software development.

João further expanded their skills and knowledge by joining VOID Software as an Engenheiro de software. During their time there, they worked on various projects, including the development of a mobile application for multi-brand sales and a web application for a data preservation system. João also took on the role of Lead Java Programmer for the latter project.

Most recently, João joined xgeeks as a DevOps Engineer, where they are currently employed.

João Sousa's education history includes a Master's degree in Mobile Computing from the Polytechnic of Leiria, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, João Sousa has also earned certifications from Microsoft. In May 2020, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification, and in June 2020, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
