Qu Heng

VP & Chairman, Group Technology Committee at Xiaomi

Qu Heng graduated from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Beihang University in 2003, and obtained a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013. He is Vice President of the Group and Chairman of the Group Technology Committee, and is in charge of the Group Quality Committee and Group Procurement Committee.

Qu Heng joined the Group in 2010 and is one of the founding team members at Xiaomi. He was responsible for MIUI and the development of Mi-Talk, while also taking on roles including router system engineer. After becoming General Manager of the Ecosystem Department in 2018, Qu Heng has led the team to work on the smartphone-centred smart ecosystem layout and the implementation of the Group's "Smartphone x AIoT" strategy, so as to develop Xiaomi as the largest consumer-grade IoT platform in the world.

Before joining the Group, he worked at Beijing Kingsoft Co., Ltd. from April 2005 to April 2010, and took on various roles such as engineer, development manager and project manager, accumulating rich experience in software development and project management.
