Ben Ashby

Ben Ashby has a diverse work experience spanning over the period of 17 years. Ben currently works at Xima Software as a Software Architect, leading a team in the implementation of k8s native SaaS offerings for contact centers. Ben specializes in Enterprise Java backend and Angular frontend, deploying on GCP and AWS. Prior to this role, they worked as a Software Developer at Xima Software.

In addition, Ben has worked as a Part-Time Contractor at Fabuso from 2013 to May 2022. At Ashco Group, they worked as a Software Engineer from 2009 to 2013. Ben was also a Web App Developer at Ott Planetarium from 2010 to 2013.

Before these roles, Ben gained experience as a Radio Engineer at Cache Valley Radio Group from 2008 to 2009 and as a Physics Assistant at USU Physics Department from 2008 to 2008. Ben started their career at Best Buy as a Geek Squad member in 2005.

Ben Ashby completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Weber State University, starting in 2011 and graduating in 2013. Prior to their time at Weber State, Ben attended Utah State University from 2009 to 2011, where they studied Computer Science without obtaining a degree. Additionally, Ben obtained certifications in A+ Hardware and A+ Software from CompTia in June 2005.
