Shelly Powell

Shelly Powell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategy, business development, and branding. Currently serving as General Manager at XITE since October 2018, Powell co-founded Kimberly Goldson, LLC, in February 2012, where the focus is on business and branding. Previously, Powell held senior leadership roles at Viacom as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Development from May 2006 to October 2018, and at Showtime Networks as Manager of Corporate Strategy in 2005. Early career experiences include positions at Sony BMG Music as a Summer Associate and at Salomon Smith Barney as an Analyst/Associate. Educational credentials include an MBA in Media & Strategy from Columbia Business School and a BS in Accounting from Hampton University, as well as a diploma from Brooklyn Technical High School.
