Chaker Larabi is a Full Professor at Université de Poitiers, where they have previously served as an Associate Professor and Research Assistant. Currently, they head the ASALI Research Axis at XLIM, which focuses on image synthesis and analysis. Chaker is recognized as an IEEE Senior Member and holds the position of Senior Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, in addition to chairing the ICME Steering Committee. They earned a Master's degree in Automatic from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and a PhD in Image Processing from Université de Poitiers.
