We empower young people to break through the barriers they face and build a future on their terms.

For 28 years, we’ve helped thousands in the most deprived boroughs in London beat their background. The young people we work with often struggle with issues like family breakdown, unemployment, educational failure, and live in areas that experience high levels of anti-social behaviour and gang violence. It’s a reality that batters potential, limits support and forces every inner-city future into a predictable statistic.

That’s why at XLP, we keep young people in school and out of gangs. We build positive, long-term relationships to restore a trust in people. We nurture the belief that things can change, despite their postcode. We encourage them to set positive goals and work hard to achieve them. At XLP, our mission is to change that script and help young people build the future they want, not the one written for them.
