Patrick Brown

Patrick Brown has a diverse work experience. Patrick is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer at XMachina since July 2021. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Parabolic Communications starting from September 2017. From November 2013, they worked as a CFO at KM Delaney & Associates. Before that, they served as the President at Westcoast Financial Services since January 2012. Patrick was an Associate at MNP from 2009 until April 2011. Patrick also worked as Principal at RSM Richter, LLP from February 2006 to November 2009, and as a Senior Manager at BDO Dunwoody LLP from June 2001 to February 2006. In 2001, they briefly worked as the CFO of Marathon Foods Inc and was part of a turn-around management team. Patrick started their career in 2000 as the CFO/Group Controller at Sextant Entertainment until February 2001.

Patrick Brown attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Finance with a focus on Accounting. During the same time period, they also studied at the CICA (Chartered Institute of Chartered Accountants), working towards a CA (Chartered Accountant) degree in Accounting.
