Mo Batran

Mo Batran is a seasoned professional in the field of geospatial information and location technology, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at xMap, a generative AI location intelligence platform, since December 2023. Previously, Mo held the position of Director of Business Development and Co-Founding Shareholder at LocationMind, where responsibilities included managing a team and scaling operations into the Middle East and North Africa. Mo was also a Research Fellow at The University of Tokyo, contributing to spatial information science research, and served as a Special Advisor at Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology. Other notable roles include Head of Data Science at Tropo.ai, Senior Data Scientist at Rakuten, and AI Engineer at SoftBank Group. Mo holds a Master of Science in Geospatial Information from The University of Tokyo, completed in 2018.
