Dana Bourke

Dana Bourke has diverse work experience in the field of audio engineering. They are currently working as a Principal Field Applications Engineer at xMEMS since February 2023. Prior to that, they had a long stint at Microsoft starting in August 2009. At Microsoft, Dana held the positions of Senior Audio Design Engineer from October 2012 to October 2022 and Senior Lead Audio Test Engineer from August 2009 to October 2012. Before joining Microsoft, Dana was the Owner of Open Hand Studios from October 2001 to April 2009, where they provided remote and location recording services for film, broadcast, and live events. They also conducted audio product software and hardware testing for clients such as Loud Technologies, Symetrix, Broadcast Tools, and Sane Wave. Dana had a simultaneous role as a Systems Test Engineer at LOUD Audio, LLC from an unknown start date to an unknown end date. They started their career as a Test Engineer at Euphonix from October 1991 to September 1996 and then again from an unknown start date to an unknown end date. Prior to that, Dana worked as a Customer Support Engineer at Bruel & Kjaer Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S from an unknown start date to an unknown end date.
