Audio Engineer at xMEMS

Diego Hernandez has extensive experience in the field of audio engineering. Diego began their career in 2011 as an Acoustic Researcher at a university, where they conducted various research projects and made significant contributions in areas such as soundcheck measurements, speaker testing, and certification. Later, they worked as the Acoustic Engineer Team Leader at Merry Electronics Co., Ltd., where they led a research team focused on electroacoustics and audio quality. Diego also contributed to the development of a measurement system for noise reduction and designed micro speakers for bass enhancement.

In 2018, Diego joined Jabra as an Audio Engineer, where they took on the role of Product Audio Lead. Diego was responsible for the acoustic design, production line in-site, DSP tuning, and DVT validation and certifications for speakerphones and headsets. Diego actively participated in the evaluation of audio quality and integrated the DVT process into the company's operations.

Diego's most recent position is as an Audio Engineer at xMEMS since 2023, where they continue to contribute their expertise in the field.

Diego Hernandez has a diverse education history. Diego earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from Feng Chia University, attending from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Acoustic Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) between 2010 and 2012. Diego'sundergraduate studies were also completed at UPV, where they focused on Telecommunications Systems, Sound and Image Engineering with an intensification in Acoustics from 2004 to 2010. Diego also briefly studied at the University of Buenos Aires in 2009 and Linköping University in 2008, but the specific degrees or fields of study for those institutions are not provided.
