Lucas Varella

Lucas Varella is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from UFSCar, with a GPA of 7.63, and possesses a diverse range of experience in engineering roles. At FAPESP, Lucas contributed to the adaptation of FDM printers for creating orthopedic devices and developed an automated precision agricultural sprayer system. At Zanini Renk, responsibilities included monitoring and analyzing equipment performance and post-sales operations. As a member of the Icarus UFRJ Formula SAE team, Lucas managed brake systems as well as team organization and project scheduling. Currently, as Leader in P&D at XMobots, expertise encompasses NVH, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanisms, and thermodynamics.
