Darick Dang

Head of Design at XMTP

Darick Dang has a long history of working in design and creative roles. In 2021 they became the Head of Design at XMTP Labs. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as Creative/Design at wongfremont, where they were responsible for art direction, creative direction, user experience design, user interface design, and design consulting for agencies, global brands, and startups. In 2011, they took on a role as Marketing and Design at Luc Lac Vietnamese Kitchen. From 2019 to 2021, they were the Director of Product Design at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Product Design at Interchange, which was acquired by Kraken in July 2019. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Senior Manager of Digital Design - Future Digital Sports at adidas. From 2015 to 2017, they were the Executive Design Director at NurseGrid, which was acquired by HealthStream in 2020. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Senior Designer/Creative at AKQA. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Design Director at Measureful, which was acquired by Chirpify in June 2014. Finally, from 2013 to 2014, they were a Senior Designer/Creative at Uncorked Studios, where they led design efforts, creative projects, and mentored junior designers and creatives.

Darick Dang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University, where they studied Biology/Ecology, Chemistry, Arts, Media and Technology. Darick also holds a High School Diploma from Parkrose High School.
