Xoma is a new, sustainable, and high premium agave spirit created by distilling pulque, a 2,000 year old Mexican probiotic drink. It is the smoother tasting more sophisticated cousin of Mezcal/Tequila. The smoothness is due cleanliness of the process that leads to less methanol and therefore less burn when drunk. It is sustainable because the regrowth rate of the plant exceeds the farming rate. We have partnered with 200 agave farmers, to provide them with a reliable source of income that will allow them to maintain their traditional way of life.
