David Albrecht

David Albrecht is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, and data analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Xometry since March 2023, David focuses on recommendations, search relevance, and general machine learning initiatives. Prior to Xometry, David contributed to Carro as a Data Scientist, where the implementation of recommendation systems and the enhancement of search functionalities were key responsibilities. David's earlier roles include Data Scientist at Bennett Data Science, where end-to-end project management was a focus, and a Data Science Intern at Riskpulse, where scripting and data automation were key tasks. David's foundational experience includes volunteer work as a Data Analyst with the San Diego Regional Data Library and prior roles at EY, where involvement in audit processes and client projects was prominent. David holds a Data Mining Certificate from UC San Diego, completed a Data Science Career Track at Springboard, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
