Marius Helf

Marius Helf has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marius started their career at PHOTOSS as a Student Assistant, where they developed C++ and CUDA code for the Photonic System Simulator Software. Marius then joined RapidMiner, initially as a Project Engineer, where they maintained and extended the Java-based RapidMiner platform and conducted data analysis projects with partners from academia and industry. Marius later became a Senior Data Scientist at RapidMiner, planning and conducting analytical and big data projects in customer-facing settings. Marius also served as the Director of RapidMiner University, building and managing RapidMiner's global customer education services.

In 2016, Marius joined Xomnia as the Chief Data Scientist, where they helped grow and structure the company from a 7-person show to a recognized AI consulting company. Marius also led the data science team and worked on hands-on project implementation. Recently, they took on the role of Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Xomnia, serving as the technical lead for AI and data projects, from initial coding to deployment in production.

Outside of their main career, Marius also worked as a Wim Hof Instructor at The Happy Yeti, starting in 2018.

Marius Helf holds a Diplom degree in Angewandte Informatik from TU Dortmund University. Marius also obtained a certification as a Level 2 Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor from the Wim Hof Method Academy in 2018. In addition to their formal education, Marius has completed several online courses and obtained certifications in various fields, including deep neural networks, machine learning projects, functional programming, and big data analysis. Marius is also a certified Reiki Practitioner.
