Tim Paauw

Tim Paauw has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a freelance web designer and developer, where they also advised on and implemented Business Intelligence tools. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a web developer for Reismedia BV. In 2009, they joined Royal Grolsch N.V. as a tour guide and student planner until 2013. In 2012, they completed an internship and bachelor thesis at Infostrada Sports Group. From 2014 to 2015, they were an intern in data and process intelligence at Nationale-Nederlanden. Tim then joined Ynformed / Royal HaskoningDHV Digital in 2015 as a data scientist and industry lead, where they worked until 2020. Since 2021, they have been serving as the CTO at Xomnia, a leading Dutch AI consultant.

Tim Paauw has a strong educational background in the field of analytics, engineering, and management. Tim earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Analytics from the University of Twente, studying from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the same institution, graduating in the years 2008 to 2012.

Before entering university, Tim attended Christelijk Lyceum Zeist where they pursued a Gymnasium degree from 2002 to 2008. Tim'sGymnasium program focused on Physics & Engineering (N&T) along with Economics and Latin.

In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained certifications in specialized areas. Tim completed the Natural Language Processing Specialization course from Coursera in February 2021. Furthermore, in March 2018, they obtained the Deep Learning Specialization from the same institution. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in the field.
