Chris Jones is an experienced Non-Executive Director, having retired as the Chief Executive of Welsh Water in May 2020. With over 25 years in CEO, CFO, and NED roles across regulated sectors, Chris has focused on exceptional customer service and sustainability. Chris co-founded Glas Cymru, facilitating the acquisition of Welsh Water in a £1.7 billion transaction, and has held significant positions, including NED roles at S4C and Xoserve. Currently, Chris pursues a diverse portfolio of advisory roles in commercial and third sector organizations across the UK, with interests in sustainable infrastructure and purposeful business. Chris holds a First Class BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business and Politics from The Johns Hopkins University.
