Alan Helu

Alan Helu is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in managing commercial coverage for financial institutions, particularly in roles such as Partner and Head of FIG at XP Inc. and XP Banco de Atacado since March 2021. Alan's responsibilities include overseeing a team focused on banks, non-bank financial institutions, insurers, and fintechs, while also developing business plans, streamlining sales processes, and implementing risk monitoring strategies. Prior to these roles, Alan served as Senior Investment Officer at Proparco, contributing to financial structures in Latin America and Asia, and held advisory and managerial positions at BNP Paribas and Banco ABC Brasil among others. Alan's educational background includes a Global MBA in Finance from ESSEC Business School and a Master's degree in Finance from Insper.
