Emily Walker

Emily Walker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Emily started their career as a Tech Intern at Socorro Consolidated Schools, where they maintained and supported hardware and networks. Emily was then promoted to a full-time Specialist, handling various responsibilities such as software testing, teaching computer classes, and training faculty. Emily also redesigned the school district's website and managed lab deployment of district hardware.

Afterwards, Emily worked as a User Consultant at New Mexico Tech, providing support and assistance to users. Emily then joined Comfort Inn and Suites as a Night Auditor/IT, where they handled IT-related tasks.

Emily's next role was at Lavu Inc., where they held various positions. Initially, they served as a Tier 1 Support Agent, providing software support and escalating issues. Emily was then promoted to a Tier 2 Support Agent, supervising and assisting Tier 1 Support staff. Later, they became the Training Manager, collaborating with the Training Team to design and create training resources. Lastly, they served as the Payments Manager, overseeing payment-related tasks.

Most recently, Emily joined Xpansiv as the Director of Program/Product Management. Their responsibilities include managing product management for the Markets Application, collaborating with globally distributed teams, and aligning engineering efforts with organizational priorities.

Emily Walker attended the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, where they studied Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in customer service, social media, problem-solving, and technical support from various institutions such as Zendesk, LinkedIn, Atlassian, Ubiquiti Networks, and Epson America Inc.
